  In today's bike touring ride, we will take us to the village of Thung Siao for a visit to Wat Si Nawarat or also known as Wat Thung Siao Temple. In a second time we will head to discover the lost city of Wiang Tha Khan; also in the San Pa Tong district -  Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. and it is always a happy ride frankmichel.cycling@gmail.com  

This video is dedicated to visiting the Doi Lo / Chiang Mai region by bicycle. A wonderful experience discovering the beautiful Temples of these villages in the region. December 05 - 2024 - Bicycle Touring ride visiting the Temple of Wat Phra Chao Ton Luang at the village of Ban San Khok Chang in the district of San Pa Tong; Chiang Mai County, northern Thailand. In all the years spent on two wheels, I had never really calculated how much I had done, or set myself a total kilometers to achieve; but 4 years ago, when I was buying a new GPS bicycle computer, and on the threshold of sixty, the idea of wanting to complete a virtual lap over the total number of 40075 kilometers of the equator line struck me. Well. Today at the end of my bike ride, this was also done, slightly exceeding the total of the kilometers needed, reaching a total of 40097 kilometers.  I can say it was a lot of fun, but now, and as long as I    can pedal, I will always be ready for more… , let the good time roll, and ... always happy ride frankmichel.cycling@gmail.com

Beautiful bike ride in the afternoon, including a visit to the Wat Pa Sak temple. A very simple, sober and very quiet temple. A really nice feeling to visit it.
